Starting a New GA Meeting

If there is no GA meetings in your community, or you believe there is a demand for another meeting, please follow the five steps below to organize and start your new meeting.

  1. Find a meeting room with reasonable rent;

  2. Facilities for serving coffee and refreshments;

  3. Meeting Room should be available every week on a scheduled meeting night;

  4. Freedom to remain at the meeting hall after the meeting for informal chats. (Many groups go for coffee instead)

  5. Advise ISO of the new meeting existence and a meeting starter kit will be sent. The area trustee will be notified. Let other groups in the area know.
