Northern Alberta Events
This page is for the use of any group that has an event planned. If you would like your event listed here, please contact us using the Contact Form with the details and we will do our best to post it here. You may also provide written information to the webmaster at an intergroup meeting.
If possible, when submitting information, please provide it in a format that is user friendly. Formats like pdf, jpg, gif, or Office Word format are accessible by the majority of users and are preferred.

Edmonton GA Beginner's Group
Who: Anyone with a desire to stop gambling
What: Beginner's Group (format is aimed at helping newer members understand the program). All are welcome!
When: THURSDAYS from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: St. Joseph's Basilica - 114 Street & Jasper Avenue (Off of Back Alley from 114 Street)
How: This is a Discussion Step Meeting in accordance with the description on page 11 of GA "A New Beginning" (red book). The meetings will rotate on a weekly basis between steps 1, 2, and 3. Once a month, a guest speaker will be invited and the meeting will generally follow the format for a comment therapy meeting.
Northern Alberta Intergroup Meetings
All members of a group represented by Gamblers Anonymous of Northern Alberta are invited to the monthly meetings.
- Meetings are normally held on the 1st Sunday of each month.
- Dates are subject to change.
- If the meeting date falls on a holiday weekend, the meeting will be the following weekend.
